From the Hong Kong arena to the future of everyday life

On November 9, 2025, the grand final of the "Future Hong Kong 2025" Science and Technology Innovation Competition, along with the accompanying Tech Talent Forum, was held at the Charles K. Kao Conference Centre in Hong Kong Science Park. This year's competition was guided by the Labour and Welfare Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Science and Technology Youth. It attracted over 200 mainland Chinese tech companies to participate. Among them, Xu Xiaoyue, Chief Engineer of Zhongshan Youni Jia Technology Co., Ltd., showcased the company's independently developed "Efficient Dishwashing Technology Without Detergent," which, after multiple rounds of intense competition and rigorous evaluation, earned Youni Jia the "Winning Award." This prestigious recognition underscores the technology's groundbreaking potential and practical value, marking a significant milestone in the company's innovative journey within the field of physical cleaning. It also signals that physical cleaning technologies from Hong Kong are poised to expand beyond local borders, stepping onto an even larger global stage.

Focusing on technology to redefine the new era of "cleanliness"

As health and environmental protection become global consensus, shouldn’t the way we clean our kitchens also undergo a new, safe, healthy, and eco-friendly transformation? Xu Xiaoyue, Chief Engineer at Youni Jia, explains: "The revolutionary 'efficient physical cleaning technology for detergent-free tableware' replaces petrochemical detergents used in commercial dishwashing scenarios right from the source. By optimizing physical energy and utilizing rare-earth minerals to break down water molecules into smaller, more penetrating clusters, this technology enables water to quickly envelop grease, effortlessly lifting it away from dishes. Paired with activated oxygen-water-based catalytic technology, the process not only disinfects and eliminates odors during washing but also ensures thorough sterilization. This marks a fundamental shift in dishwashing methods—building an impenetrable safety barrier for dining table hygiene while simultaneously cutting off chemical pollution of water bodies, making even the wastewater environmentally friendly."
